Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration of early childhood and a tribute to all those people in our community who help teach and support young children. It is designed to help each of us make the most of the unique opportunities inherent in the early years. Listed below are some of the ways children at Kiddie Kollege celebrate Week of the Young Child:

Butterfly Release | Lunch with a Parent or Grandparent | Balloon Release | Easter Egg Hunt | Visit from the Easter Bunny

Other Annual Center Events:

Red Ribbon Week (Drug Awareness) | Visit from Santa | Trip to the Pumpkin Patch | Family Fun Nights | Dental Safari | Community Helpers Week | Class Parties

Family Literacy Fest

This free event is for children ages 0-8 and is held at our facility in May of each year. The event includes a train for kids ride, face painting, petting zoo, fun characters to meet and take pictures with, games with prizes, grand prizes, and free books and a toy for every child. Kids can look inside a fire truck, ambulance and police car, jump in bouncy houses and food is available on site. The event runs from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm. Check our FB page for other details.

Kids Drawing

"Childhood is a time of enormous opportunities—a time when children grow, learn, strive, dream, and build the foundations for their futures. Every moment of a young child's life is a chance to learn more about the world, to develop social skills, and to gain critical knowledge and abilities. These early experiences lay the groundwork for all later learning, and help children succeed in school and beyond. As parents, teachers, policymakers, community leaders, and concerned adults, we all share responsibility for making sure young children get the most out of those opportunities. It's up to all of us to make the early years count."
